The Justice, Development and Peace Makers’ Centre Osogbo (JDPMC), is a registered Faith-based Charity, Non-Governmental, non-political and not-for-profit Organization, established according to the mandate of the Vatican’s Department of Church and Society by the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo. The Organisation was established in 1995 but formally registered with CAC in 2009. As the social arm of the Church, it carries out the prophetic mission of the Church in the world through the social transformation of society without any bias to race, gender, religion, tongue or colour. The Organisation has been actively promoting social development activities aimed at improving the standard of living of people and the quality of life, alleviating the suffering of the oppressed, the marginalised and the less privileged by influencing public policies and empowering people to be self-reliant.
