It is no longer news that the country is currently experiencing insecurity such as banditry and kidnapping for ransom has significantly worsened the situation of her citizenry. In the same way, there have been different calls for secession among different ethnic groups in the country.

In commemorating this year Democracy Day and reflecting the mood of the season, the Justice Development and Peace Makers’ Centre (JDPMC), Osogbo will be organizing a one-day symposium to engage the public, particularly the youths for a debate and discussion to find lasting solutions to the issues bedeviling the country.

You are therefore invited to share your views on the burning issues and offer likely lasting solutions where necessary in order to restore back peace to Nigeria. it should be noted also that every opinion will count in this symposium as they will form a comprehensive report to be pushed forward to the affected relevant stakeholders in the security sector in Nigeria.
