School Resumption: JDPMC doles out school materials for 78 Indigent Children.

In her usual style at every new session, JDPMC with one of her core mandates being Child’s rights protection reached out to indigent children  to support their rights to education by giving  school materials to the Seventy-eight vulnerable in –school children.

The intervention tagged “BACK TO SCHOOL FOR EXCELLENCE was part of the Service Delivery activities to vulnerable children in Osun state, under the current Child Rights Protection Project supported by Kindermission werk  by the Department of Integrated Human Development and Child Care whose sole aim is to support the Children in dire need, sensitize them on their Rights and provide holistic Child Protection and support through many initiatives such as Note books, Textbooks, School Uniform, Customized School Bags, Socks ,Sandals, Rulers, Erasers, Pencils and among others.

According to the Programme Supervisor, Mrs.Juliet Akande “The overall goal of this intervention is to bring succor to  indigent  children  in  Osun State irrespective of gender, race,  or colour so that the Gap between the Rich and  the Poor can be bridged, ultimately, creating a fair level of opportunities available to  children .

It is our hope that all the parents of the children benefited from this aid will justify the essence of the gesture by performing their oversights and monitoring the academic performance of their children. Similarly, We expect the beneficiaries  to see this intervention  as  our passionate desire for every human being/child to live a dignified life  willed for them by God without anyone being left out,” she Concluded.

Speaking one after the other, the beneficiaries Oluwadarasimi Adebayo,Timileyin Ogbonlaye and Ilori Taiwo and Kehinde expressed their delight and gratitude to the Justice, Development and Peace Makers Centre (JDPMC) of Osogbo in collaboration with Kindermissionwerk for not forgetting them through the immeasurable academic intervention services given to them so as to able to align with their peers and meet up with school requirements.
