Fr.Akinkunmi noted that getting tested in order to know one’s health status and vaccinated respectively were no longer optional considering the death rates recorded so far due to Covid19 pandemic and other underlying diseases. He added that it was important Nigerians learned how to prevent the worst from happening rather than fighting it.

Barely three weeks of his resumption of office as a newly posted Commissioner of Police to Osun state, Undie Adie has begun to pitch his tenet with relevant stakeholders in the state like Justice Development and Peace Makers’ Centre (JDPMC), Osogbo in an attempt to tame the tide of skyrocketing crime indices that seemed to be pervading state ranging from Farmers and Herders’conflict,rising indices of rape case and other nefarious criminal acts.
Legislative dialogue is an in-house programme of the JDPMC created to afford an atmosphere in which political office holders and the people especially members of the community at the grassroots to interact and dialogue on community development measures towards a better living and representation of all and sundry.
Fr. Akinkunmi described Environment as a cherishable heritage and free gift of nature which required concerted efforts of every human being to keep it fit for a living and habitation. He however expressed his regret at the low level of hygiene practices in Nigeria which could portend serious dangers on existence of humanity and development of the nation among which were deforestation, mining, use of toxic substance and chemical weapons, bush burning, over grazing and bad agricultural, sanitation practices as well as pollution of various forms.
“One of our major concerns in our organization is adequate child care which attracts more attention than any other matters. we carefully chose this occasion to show love to these children in order to mark their Day as it is true that majority of them may not have never experienced such due to their background or circumstances that gave birth to them. But beyond this clause, it is part of our mandate in our organization to make them feel loved and important irrespective of their sex, status, tribe, background or colour as long as they are all created in the like image of God.
