JDPMC Osogbo invites the General Public to 25th Anniversary of RUDEP and Annual Farmers’ Forum Day.

The Justice, Development and Peace Makers’ Centre (JDPMC), Osogbo is inviting you to the 25th Anniversary of our Rural Development Programme (RUDEP) and the 23rd Annual Farmers’ Forum. The forum is usually a platform for experience sharing and cross-fertilization of ideas on issues bothering agricultural sustainability in Nigeria.

The Rural Development Programme of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo was established in the year 1995 to promote sustainable agriculture and social development in all rural communities of Osun state within the jurisdiction of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo. Through consistent agricultural extension and support services and development works, the programme has assisted at least 2,500 farmers in 89 rural communities in 15 Local Government Areas of the State, complementing government efforts in the areas of rural and agricultural development without any form of discrimination. This has helped in transforming agricultural practices and sustainable livelihood of the rural dwellers.

This year’s edition of the annual event is designed to celebrate 25years of continual services to humanity. There will be opportunity for commodity and products exhibition, inter-stakeholder experience sharing and cross-fertilization of ideas and entertainment displays. We therefore invite your organization/outfit to come and exhibit your products/works and use the avenue to interact with our farmers at this important occasion. Hence, the event is scheduled to hold as follows:

Venue:     JDPMC Office, Catholic Bishop House, Oke-Ayepe, Osogbo.

Date:        Thursday, 5th December, 2019
